Autonomous System Number (ASN)

An ASN (Autonomous System Number) identifies the organization that owns and operates a block of IP addresses. When you make requests online, your ASN helps determine whether your traffic looks like it's from a data center, ISP, university, or mobile carrier.

Why it matters

  • Ban Risk: Many websites block known data center ASNs.
  • Reputation Filtering: Mobile and residential ASNs are less likely to trigger anti-bot defenses.
